SENDMOUSE · PRIVACY

Privacy Policy

SendMouse is designed to connect your phone and computer directly on the same network. Remote-control commands and transferred content are not stored on a central SendMouse server.

Effective: July 30, 2026

1. Scope

This policy applies to the SendMouse apps for Android and iOS, the Windows and macOS desktop companion, and SendMouse landing and download pages provided by 123EGGS.

2. Information we process

  • Connection data: device name and identifier, local IP address and port, pairing keys, and connection status.
  • Settings and local history: language, pointer and input settings, favorites, usage count, subscription entitlement, and text or file transfer history.
  • Content you select: files and text you send, plus received files stored on your computer.
  • Advertising and diagnostics: Google Mobile Ads and its partners may process IP address, device or advertising identifiers, app interactions, and error information.
  • Purchase data: product, transaction, and subscription entitlement status processed by Apple or Google. SendMouse does not collect or store payment-card details.
  • Web data: standard server logs such as IP address, browser or device information, and request time may be created when you visit the download page or distribution service.

3. How we use information

  • Discover and pair devices and provide mouse, keyboard, media, and power controls.
  • Transfer files and text, show transfer history, and recover from errors.
  • Apply free-use limits, verify Pro benefits, restore purchases, and display ads.
  • Secure and troubleshoot the service, prevent abuse, and answer support requests.

4. Direct communication and permissions

Control commands, files, and text are normally sent directly between paired devices on the same local network. They do not pass through or remain on a central SendMouse server.

The app may request local-network access for discovery, camera access for QR pairing, and file-picker access for files you choose. The macOS companion requires Accessibility permission to control the computer. Refusing a permission disables only the related feature.

5. Service providers and disclosure

Google Mobile Ads, Google Play, the Apple App Store, GitHub, and web-hosting providers may process information where needed to operate SendMouse. Their own privacy policies and your account settings govern that processing.

We do not sell personal information. We disclose it only where required by law, needed to protect rights and safety, or based on your explicit consent.

6. Retention and deletion

Pairing data, settings, and text or transfer history are stored locally. You can delete them using history clearing and unpairing controls or by uninstalling the app. Received files must be deleted from their chosen storage location.

Advertising, store-payment, and hosting providers retain data under their own policies. Information needed for legal obligations or disputes may be kept for the required period.

7. Security and international processing

SendMouse uses reasonable safeguards, including pairing keys and encrypted connections. No transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.

Providers may process information outside your country. They are responsible for safeguards required by applicable law.

8. Your choices and children

You can change permissions and advertising choices in system settings, delete connections and history in the app, and manage subscriptions through your app store.

SendMouse is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

9. Changes to this policy

If features, laws, or our practices change, we will update the effective date on this page and provide additional notice in the app or on the website when appropriate.
